​​​DO I HAVE TO BE FIT?

• The great news is that you do not need to be fit to do this course. * 

• You can be any age.

• You don't need any prior combat or martial arts experience.

 

* We train you to neutralise an attacker within 3 seconds.  So you only need the fitness to last this long.  This is not a UFC MMA fight of multiple 5 minute rounds.  Defence in a street fight requires that the fight be over within seconds.

 

 

WHAT TO WEAR

Please wear a black t-shirt and black shorts or track pants if you are registering for a Free Trial.

If you have joined the club, please wear black shorts or leggings or track pants.  You will be supplied with the Storm Combat Club T-Shirt.

Do not wear jewelry including hooped earrings  that can snag. 

Do not wear fitness watches.

COURSE FEE

12 Week Course Fee is divided into 

3 Monthly Installments of R1200 

​

There is a once off jointing fee of R650 which covers the cost of your Training Kit (consists of a training gun, training knife, safety glasses, kit bag, and Storm Combat uniform.  Please note that this kit is valued at R1200 and is partially sponsored by Storm Combat for new students.

WHAT IS KRAV MAGA?

Krav Maga is a military close quarter combat system used by Special Forces and Elite Law Enforcement. Gain powerful self-protection skills specifically for the South African streets.  In the process, you will also get fit, get strong and lose weight.  

​

Krav Maga is known for its focus on real-world situations and its extreme efficiency.  You are trained to be a human, walking weapon; your prime directive is the preservation of life - yours and the lives of others, in the face of a violent encounter.  While we encourage peaceful resolution of conflict, should your life be in danger, you will learn to finish the fight using devastating techniques.

 

Discover how to turn the attacker into your victim!  All techniques taught are not based on size or strength.  You could be 6ft4 and weigh 120kg, but somewhere out there is someone bigger and stronger than you are and possibly on drugs so that he feels no pain.   These techniques will enable you to prevail regardless.

 

At Storm Combat we are widely known for two things:  being a seriously hard-core, no nonsense combat gym, with very friendly people and no egos, lots of laughter and lots of sweat!  You can be any age, any fitness level and have no prior experience.  A great alternative to normal gym! 

 

 

BEYOND THE 12 WEEKS

Most students don't want to stop at the end of the course.  If this is you, then the next step is to start preparing for your first grading - Yellow Belt.

  

You will move to a more advanced class and begin your journey to Black Belt! (And YES!  You can work towards your Black Belt at any age!)

 

HOW DO I BOOK?

The moment you book your slot on the course, you will immediately receive an email which will provide you a link to the app, your unique username and password.
