FILIPINO MARTIAL ARTS

BLADED WEAPONS AND STICK

Learning to defend yourself using a force multiplier such as a knife, stick or improvised weapon, is an essential component of your overall self-defence training. Owning a weapon is one thing, but knowing how to rapidly access, deploy and use it effectively in a self-defence context is an entirely different matter.

SPECIAL FORCES

Filipino Martial Art is considered the most advanced practical modern blade system in the world and forms a core component of the Special Forces training around the world.

DESIGNED FOR THE STREETS

Weapons-training takes precedence because of the enormous advantage it provides in real street fights,  More than this, it gears you psychologically to face armed opponents knowing that you have the knowledge and skills to defend yourself with a weapon.

No one walks around with sabers, katanas or jians anymore, but knives, machetes and clubs are still among commonly encountered weapons on the street and in the field, thus making FMA very practical and geared towards military and street fighting.

You will learn to fight with weapons or empty hands interchangeably and turn ordinary household items into lethal weapons for self-defence.

STICK FIGHTING

Stick fighting along with knife fighting and empty hand combat forms a core component of our FMA training.

We teach our students to seek peace at all times and above all!  Endeavour to de-escalate violent confrontations.  However,  if you are faced with absolutely no other alternative but to fight for your life - you are well equipped to do so.
