BOX-FIT

BOXFIT training is a boxing based high intensity workout using boxing bags which will improve your cardio stamina, endurance, balance, and coordination. You'll be working your upper body, lower body, and core, and the intense, fat-burning workouts can help to drop weight.

Designed to increase lean muscle mass, strip fat and increase both endurance and explosive power this menu of workouts across a week offers a well-rounded combat fitness program

While we recognise that you are attending this class for fitness purposes, we will not allow you to repeatedly hit the bag with incorrect boxing technique.  The repetitive nature of this class will allow whatever technique you use to become firmly entrenched in your muscle memory.  This is why your coach will walk around and correct your technique while you are working out to ensure that you build correct form to support your boxing.

MOBILITY TRAINING

People often confuse mobility with flexibility or stretching. Although they are related, the difference between mobility and flexibility matters because it affects athleticism and injury risk. As mobility includes moving through a full range of motion, you need flexibility in those muscles to be mobile.

Flexibility and stretching involve lengthening your muscles, while mobility takes it one step further. Mobility training optimizes movement and performance by increasing the range of motion within your joints and surrounding muscles. When you’re more mobile, you can train harder, recover faster, and perform better.

Mobility is yet one more attribute of fitness.  Along with other fitness attributes, (including flexibility, strength, power, and aerobic fitness), it is both evaluated and assessed by the trainer in the earliest stages of interaction.
