KIDS KRAV MAGA

All of our junior self-defence students are trained in three combat disciplines as a standard procedure.

These are Krav Maga, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Boxing/Muay Thai.

In an encouraging and fun atmosphere, we equip our young warriors with the tools and techniques to deal with situations that confront them on the playground, in school and in life.

Very different from traditional martial arts based on katas and drills, our kids learn hand-to-hand combat from their very first lesson.

Aside from a host of self-defence techniques, our juniors are taught to be situationally aware, to think on their feet, to recognise potential threats and to react fast.

We encourage de-escalation of any violent encounter, and as our students become increasingly more potent in their skills, they are constantly reminded to seek peace above all.

Parents often ask if this type of training will turn their child into an aggressive bully.   In fact, quite the opposite occurs.

Children become far more confident, strong and disciplined. And the training is focused on essential potentially life-saving skills.

KIDS BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU

Not only do our students learn Krav Maga, they also learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.  This provides yet another tool in their arsenal of self-defence skills.

Bullying is on the rise and a real concern in all schools.  Jiu Jitsu will give your child more confidence and that is the number one bully deterrent.

Bullies don't want to pick on confident children, they want easy prey.

But besides being confident, they will have the tools to physically defend themselves through hours on the mats spent training real situations and  how to deal with them using BJJ.

KIDS BOXING MUAY THAI

In addition to Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, our students learn Boxing and Muay Thai which provides them yet another tool to help your child defend themselves.

Our students are trained in correct techniques, footwork and head movement. In addition they learn to manage the distance in a fight and defend against incoming strikes.

As with all our other fighting methods, our students are encouraged to only use their skills for self-defence.
